Love Photography? You can help!
2013 marks the ACP’s 40th anniversary. In recognition of four decades as a leading Australian Arts organisation, we invite you to join us in ensuring we can continue to bring challenging new exhibition programming, publications and courses to the public by contributing to our 40th Birthday appeal. We aim to raise funds between June and September 2013 to support our current exhibition, education and publishing projects.
“I have been visiting the Australian Centre for Photography since it was in a small corner terrace house in Paddington in the 1970s. I have read every issue of Photofile magazine since its inception. The ACP over the span of its life has been formative, influential, innovative, theoretical, practical and above all about all the things a photograph is, can and might be. The most pervasive of mediums in the modern world has to have an anchor and focal point. The ACP is that.”
– Judy Annear, senior curator photographs, Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney
As a not-for-profit organisation offering free public access to our four galleries we rely on the generosity of the community to support us in the development and presentation of Australian photography.
