Be inspired. Think. Discover.
Presenting exhibitions of emerging to established Australian and International photo-media artists, the program allows the examination of photography in its historical tradition and its contemporary digital form, and provides critical keys to the discussions surrounding the medium.
ACP initiated the first retrospectives of Max Dupain, Olive Cotton and Merv Bishop, organised the early public displays of Bill Henson, Tracey Moffatt, William Yang and Trent Parke and also presented works by international artists including Larry Clark, Nan Goldin, Martin Parr, Man Ray, Cindy Sherman, amongst others.
ACP provides a wide range of travelling exhibitions to both regional and metropolitan areas, facilitating the critical awareness and enjoyment of photographic exhibitions by a broader audience, and strives to expand the reach of Australian photographic artists overseas. Internationally, ACP has presented artists in major museums, galleries and festivals.

"Dear Sylvia is a show with much more to offer than meets the eye - beautifully curated - the exhibition is a must see for all Plath devotees, photography addicts and those interested to see how women represent their own bodies."
