ACP Workshop — Foundation

Foundation courses at the ACP introduce you to the basic skills of photography. This prepares you for a range of intermediate courses which lead to specialist subjects. Foundation courses require no previous experience and ACP Membership is optional.

Demand is always intense and prospective students are advised to enroll in their chosen course well in advance of the published starting date. To ensure you and your fellow students get the best out of each class there are necessary prerequisite levels of skill. These are indicated in the course outlines. New members who already have basic skills should arrange an interview with a member of the ACP Workshop team for a portfolio review. Our trained staff will then be able to advise you on the course best suited to your current level of expertise.

This is a general introductory course covering all the basics of digital photography, from getting the most out of your camera to printing out lasting images.
