Travel Photography

Specialist Course
5 classes / 3 hours per class / 1 class per week

In this 5 week specialist course you will learn how to take compelling travel photographs. Your tutor, award winning photographer Nuran Zorlu, has travelled extensively and is well versed in both eastern and western culture. Nuran describes himself as an image catcher, whose love of philosophy and sociology, as well as his own multi layered background, has inspired him to enquire into people and their environment through his travel images

During the course you will learn about the importance of research and planning for your trip, the issues in travel photography, what equipment to take and marketing your travel images. You will be inspired by the diversity of approaches in this genre through guest lecturers and will also have a post-production session in the Digital Suite.

Required: Camera Craft 2 (or relevant experience), familiarity with an image editing program, a digital or film SLR camera
