5 classes / 3 hours per class / 1 class per week

A feast for the eyes

In this 5 week specialist Lighting class students will develop their own ideas, from concept and pre-production planning to the final execution of mouth watering food photographs.

In the first week your tutor will lead you through an intensive prevision session to plan the shoots for the following four weeks. The importance of styling, composition and lighting will be demonstrated. Your tutor will show you how to backlight translucent foods, rim light your subject, and create small sets.

Students will explore current trends in food photography as well as classic techniques.
