Foundation Course 4 classes / 3 hours per class / 1 class per week
Just bought a digital SLR camera and want to know how to get the best results? This is a general introductory course covering all the basics of digital photography, from getting the most out of your camera to printing out lasting images. Learn all about the DSLR's many features, capabilities and resolution settings and how you can use them for creative effect. Understand the difference between file formats, how to make the photos jump off the page with software techniques and the best way to save your work on a computer and removable discs. The course will cover basic digital workflow and the tools and techniques required for everyday snapping, travelling and of course, emailing.
* First and Second Intake: Each term lasts 10 weeks. Short 5-week courses run
twice in each term, the second intake starting in week 6.
