Camera Craft 1

Foundation Course
5 classes / 3 hours per class / 1 class per week

If you're only using your camera on automatic you're missing out on the real art of photography. This course is about learning to use your SLR camera with confidence and skill. With a blend of technical tuition, practical assignments and group discussion, you will discover how to unlock your camera's potential. You may use a film SLR or digital SLR camera.

Required: a digital or film SLR camera
Next: Black & White 1, Camera Craft 2, InDesign for Photographers, Photoshop, Photographer's Assistant, Digital Workflow, Lightroom, Black & White: Process, Proof and Scan, Pinhole Photography, Camera Craft 2 at Randwick Community Centre, Black & White: Print, Photoshop Basics 1, and Creative Vision with Mark Tedeschi

* First and Second Intake: Each term lasts 10 weeks. Short 5-week courses run twice in each term, the second intake starting in week 6.
† A concession price is available to unemployed, pensioner and government issued seniors card holders or full–time students. Proof of entitlement must be shown during enrolment and may be requested prior to admission.
