Advanced Night Photography
Specialist Course
Focusing on analogue photography you will delve deeper into the technical and creative approaches to night photography. You will refine your technical night photography skills, and further your knowledge of the creative elements of night scene images both in urban and suburban settings. Topics will include the use of medium and large format cameras, painting with light, alternative lighting techniques, composition, scanning your film, and the basic proofing of your images in Photoshop. In addition to a directed evening photographing with your instructor, you will be given the opportunity to work on a personal project.
Required: Camera Craft 2 and Night Photography (or relevant experience), a 35mm or medium format film camera, tripod, and cable release. Medium and large format photography will be discussed, but are not required for this course.

* First and Second Intake: Each term lasts 10 weeks. Short 5-week courses run
