The striking and apocalyptic images in Nollywood are the result of a cross-cultural collaboration that breaks all the rules and defies easy categorisations. In this pre-recorded interview, Pieter Hugo discusses Nollywood in the broader context of his practice as a portrait photographer.

For this event we were also joined by Sydney filmmaker, musician and Nollywood video distributor Daniel Okoduwa, who contributed his unique perspectives on Nigerian films and the context in which they are produced.

Parents and young children were invited to experience the world of science and photography, through a selection of materials exploring creepy crawlies, critters and cockroaches! With Bug Boxes provided by the Australian Museum, this program targeted kids aged 3 - 12.
