Photographing Human Suffering

Some photographers feel they have a duty to bear witness to human suffering, but face complex ethical and moral considerations when they do so. In this panel, three of Australia's top photojournalists talk about how some images have managed to matter. Hosted by ABC journalist Mark Corcoran, panellists include Kate Geraghty, Stephen Dupont, and Brendan Esposito. This event is presented in conjunction with the 2008 Nikon-Walkley Press Photo Award.
