Love the Photography Masters? Want to photograph in Black and White Film and have full control of your work? We can teach you how to expose the perfect photograph, then process your roll of film. You can then scan your photograph to obtain a digital image or head back into the darkroom to make the perfect print. Once you have mastered these skills you can then be more creative and experimental in the darkroom with alternative processing techniques.

Black & White: Process, Proof and Scan

Black & White: Process, Proof and Scan

In this hands-on short course you will learn how to process black and white film and make proof sheets, while being introduced to the magic of the B&W darkroom. (4 classes / 3 hours per class / 1 class per week, $360.00/$320.00)


Black & White: Print

Black & White: Print

The print is the culmination of the darkroom process. In this beginners' short course you will be introduced to the various techniques of darkroom wet printing. (6 classes / 3 hours per class / 1 class per week, $530.00/$490.00)


Medium Format

Through a combination of both lecture and hands-on experience you will learn what makes medium format photography distinctive from 35mm and large format. (1 class / 3 hours per class / 1 class, $60.00/$60.00)


Large Format Photography

Please note you don't need to own a large format camera to partake in this class. In this two week course you will learn the essentials of large format film photography. Emphasis will be placed on the aspects that differentiate large format from the smaller formats. (2 classes / 3 hours per class / 1 class per week)


Alternative Darkroom

In this hands-on ten week specialist course, you will be introduced to pinhole photography and paper negatives, as well as alternative darkroom processes such as Lith printing, Solarisation, Photograms, Cyanotypes and Salt printing. (10 classes / 3 hours per class / 1 class per week)


Fine Art Black & White

Fine Art Black & White

Take your camera and darkroom skills to a new level with this intensive black and white course. An excellent print requires an outstanding negative. (10 classes / 3 hours per class / 1 class per week, $749.00/$675.00)
