This course is for anyone with a basic understanding of photography and an interest in becoming a professional photographer by first working as an assistant. In this course Fiona Wolf, who is listed as one of the top 10 photographers assistants in Australia for the last 3 years, and voted runner up as one of Australia’s top emerging portrait photographers will give you an invaluable insight into the industry. You will learn about the kinds of equipment that are used in a commercial studio and how to operate them. You will be introduced to the basics of setting up a business and strategies for marketing your skills. And you will find out more about staying organised, etiquette when dealing with clients and building your own network of contacts. The course includes a review of services and labs available to the professional photographer in Sydney. All equipment for demonstration is supplied - you simply require a note pad and pen.
