Hollywood - From the Silent Era to Film Noir


5 classes / 3 hours per class / 1 class per week

This 5 week specialist Lighting class explores the unique styles of master photographers from the golden era of Hollywood. In the first week your tutor will lead you through an intensive prevision session to plan the shoots for the following four weeks.

As a group you will source models, stylists, hair and makeup artists then build and create your own sets to recreate your own Hollywood vision. Explore the unique styles of master photographers from the golden era of Hollywood, such as George Hurrell and C.S.Bull.

Required: Lighting and Lighting Intensive and Camera Craft 1 and Camera Craft 2 (or relevant experience), a digital or film SLR camera
