Camera Craft 1


5 classes / 3 hours per class / 1 class per week

Want to be Creative with your camera? Only using the automatic mode or want to gain a full understanding of your camera. This course is about learning to use your SLR camera with confidence, skill and gaining the creative edge.

With a blend of technical tuition, practical assignments and group discussion, you will discover how to unlock your camera's potential. You may use a film SLR or digital SLR camera.

Please note this is our most popular introduction course, so get in early as classes fill quickly

Required: a digital or film SLR camera
Next: Camera Craft 2, Photographer's Assistant, Lightroom, Black & White: Process, Proof and Scan, Black & White: Print, Portrait Development , Hollywood - From the Silent Era to Film Noir, Creative Darkroom, Photoshop 1, and your family

* First and Second Intake: Each term lasts 10 weeks. Short 5-week courses run twice in each term, the second intake starting in week 6.
† A concession price is available to unemployed, pensioner and government issued seniors card holders or full–time students. Proof of entitlement must be shown during enrolment and may be requested prior to admission.
