ACP Photographic Courses — Camera Technique

Learn how to make the most of your camera. You will learn how to photograph in manual mode enabling you to have full creative control of all your photographs. Courses then build on this knowledge base and teach you about composition mood and colour, opening up a world of creative possibilities.

Camera Craft 1 at the MCA Do you want to be creative with your camera? Camera Craft 1 is a 5–week course for people who are using their DSLR in auto mode and want more creative control over their photos. Through a mixture of lectures, assignments and slide shows you will learn the essential principles of photography and how these relate to the functions of your camera. (5 classes / 3 hours per class / 1 class per week, $445.00/$405.00)

Camera Craft 3 Intensive This course has been developed to provide intermediate students the opportunity to concentrate on refining their camera skills, while also exploring a variety of creative genres, including portraiture, photojournalism and documentary, architecture, landscape, still life, night and travel photography. (5 classes / 6 hours per class / 1 class per week)

Photo Books with Blurb Learn how to make professional looking photo books, perfect for a range of photography projects from family photos to professional folios or artist books. (1 class / 6 hours per class / 1 day intensive)

Digital Photography Basics - Penrith The Australian Centre for Photography in partnership with the Penrith Regional Gallery & The Lewers Bequest would like to announce the start of an exciting venture. Camera Craft 2 Camera Craft 2 looks at the creative elements of photography, covering composition, lighting and creative techniques. This course will help you to develop your own creative style by looking at different approaches to photography while learning to look critically at your work and how to edit.
